We’ve received some fantastic news at Ditto. Leading British tech magazine and respected industry commentator BusinessCloud has named us one of their 51 Artificial Intelligence Innovators, and we’re very thankful for the recognition.
The list is made up of some of the UK’s most exciting, envelope-pushing AI companies, described by BusinessCloud as ‘innovative and disruptive’, and selected through nominations, ‘industry consultation’ and their own in-house research. We’re glad to be counted among them.
It’s especially rewarding to be recognised by a publication that is pursuing some of the goals that are central to our own mission. BusinessCloud covers the latest developments in the Internet of Things, Big Data and AI with the aim of ‘demystifying tech for a business audience’, an endeavour we can closely relate to as proponents of Explainable AI (XAI).
Innovation is a major part of what makes us who we are at Ditto, and underlies our pursuit of trustworthy AI for a responsible future. We’re making XAI accessible for organisations that want to improve their sustainability and become responsible forces in the economy. We’re helping them operate more efficiently throughout this process. It takes a team of people and a lot of hard work to develop and evolve our own XAI platform, so we’re always happy when others take notice – especially when it’s from thought leaders in the tech industry. It reminds us that we have an active role in the future of AI and we’d like our contribution to be a positive one.
We’ve got our work cut out to keep evolving and innovating so we make the list in the years to come. Innovation isn’t a box-ticking exercise when it comes to a rapidly progressing industry like AI; one year’s innovator can quite easily become next year’s follower if innovation isn’t at the core of their mission. We plan to become a mainstay of the list.
